Zhejiang Hisun Biomaterials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hisun Biomaterials" or "Company") is a high-tech enterprise focusing on R&D, production and sales of polylactic acid (PLA). It is a company with core technology of each key link, and large-scale production and sales of multi-grades polylactic acid.。

Adhering to the value of "developing plant resources and creating a harmonious society", the company is customer-oriented and market-oriented, and has opened up full-process industrialization process of "lactic acid--lactide--polylactic acid", and has controlled all aspects from material synthesis to market application. In domestic market, the company has obtained "three system certification" including ISO9001 Quality Management Systems certificate, ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems Certificate and ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Certificate; In international market, the company has completed EU REACH registration and obtained compostable certifications in Australia, Germany, the United States and Austria, and has obtained food contact safety certification from the US FDA.

The project of annual capacity of 50,000 tons PLA resin and products is composed of two production lines: annual capacity of 30,000 tons (first phase) and annual capacity of 20,000 tons (second phase). Among them, the production line of 30,000 tons annual capacity (the first phase) was officially put into production in December 2020.

30 tons/year PLA trial facility was built and put into operation, and small-scale production process chain of PLA has been preliminarily mastered.

5,000 tons/year PLA production line was completed and achieved stable production, which laid foundation for the 10,000-ton polylactic acid production line.

Build a polylactic acid production line with an annual output of 10,000 tons and a processing and modification production line for related products.

The company's newly built project with an annual output of 50,000 tons of polylactic acid resin and its products, the first phase of the project (30,000 tons) was officially put into operation in December.
